CarolBrass has a humble origin. Born in a rustic Hakka village, the first model of CarolBrass was developed in a 2-story warehouse with materials scattered on the floor, and notes and trumpet design drafts. Despite the hardships, Carl Lee and his wife, Carol Lo, founded the CarolBrass, specialized in the production of brass instrument in 1989. As the production and skills advanced, Carl started
to work with traders and took orders overseas. At that time, CarolBrass identified itself as a manufactuer that make instruments and parts for other world-class brands. IE: Your 30 YO Bach student trumpet may have had CarolBrass parts!
Ever since CarolBrass was founded, they have devoted themselves to the production of refined instruments and music. They believe that the music, produced by the performer and the well-crafted instrument, have the power to affect the listeners.
Therefore, they hold on to the idea that music can bring powerful changes. To practice what they preach, they insist on having their instruments made in Taiwan. With well-trained craftsman and worker-friendly environment, they make sure that every instrument is made with care and passion. Hopefully, this enthusiasm can be disseminated with the help of musicians, artists and the listeners.
For a long time, to produce moving brass instruments and sounds for performers has always been the goal in their hearts.
